UK wide
Based centrally in Leeds Yorkshire – I cover most of the UK without additional travel costs. The chance to travel, meet people and see places has been fab! Aside it has often been a cultural experience having photographed English, Welsh, Russian, Asian, and Iranian weddings and engagement parties.
The story began at a quaint garden party wedding in Leeds on one of the sunniest days I recall. Since I have photographed weddings – as far north as Edinburgh – as far south as Devon – and so many places in between.

Meeting 'Potentials'
I take the time to travel and meet many interested couples as this allows an invaluable opportunity to view real wedding albums and storybooks. Meeting also allows us to find the important personality 'click'. Just ask me, as you may be surprised at the distance I am prepared to travel to meet – Reason? – Meetings are valuable to both sides, and more often than not, a success. All I ask is that you have a good look through my Portfolio first.

Individuality
Your wedding day is as individual as you are. A social gathering and celebration with family and friends. My photojournalist style will capture personality, emotion and interaction. In my photography you'll see your day as it was, you'll see moments you'd otherwise have missed, and you'll recognise smiles and personality you already know. In group photos you'll see true smiles as people chat to each other. In couple shots I aim to capture the true emotions that you feel together. Forget mock cake cutting, I'll capture the true event as it happens. I avoid using flash, I prefer to capture the atmosphere and true picture.

Available Light Photography
I only use flash in the most extreme of situations. Photography using the available light captures the atmosphere and true colour of a scene without distraction.

I never stage cutting the cake.
A moment such as this, is all about my style. I'll capture the atmosphere – the magical moments. I don't want to say more about this image – but your reaction – I can imagine…
The wealth and beauty of colour at Asian weddings is fab! I love the way my images capture the moments to create calm memories in the busy chaos. Black and white images can calm even more the memory and reveal the emotion… Thanks for the experience and fun!
Bouquets are the style and colour choice of each bride. The image puts the perfect choice into the perfect scene. Captured is the emotion and atmosphere of the room How lost this all would be if using flash photography… This is a truly magical image and in print stunning!
Bubbles… Complete the story yourself; imagination can be inspired by stepping back and capturing detail within a scene – without one or the other – the magic lost.
If you see in the image above to the right you can see these paper lanterns. Captured without flash, this image has all the atmosphere this subtle lighting created. The planning and efforts of those creating the room is now timeless.
How red are the reds in images captured by others? I use Prime (not zoom) lenses and the advantage in colour and contrast is clear. What do you think?
